1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an Edify Audio account, we collect your email address and display name. This is used to authenticate you across all Edify products and personalize your experience.

EchoWave — AI Music Studio

EchoWave is a browser-based AI music generation platform. When you use EchoWave, we may collect and store:

• Text prompts you submit for song, lyric, and cover art generation
• Generated audio files and AI-created cover art associated with your account
• Voice samples you upload for voice cloning — stored securely and used only to train your personal voice model
• Credit balance and transaction history for credit purchases
• Songs you upload for mashup or remix features

Voice models trained from your samples are stored privately under your account and are not shared with other users. You can delete your voice model at any time from your account settings.

Audio Connect Stream — Real-Time Collaboration

Audio Connect Stream is a desktop application for live music collaboration. During a session we collect:

• Session metadata (session ID, participant list, timestamps) to facilitate real-time connections
• Audio streams transmitted peer-to-peer using WebRTC — we do not record or store audio streams on our servers unless you explicitly use an in-app recording feature
• Cloud storage files you upload (up to 50 GB per account) — stored securely in Firebase Cloud Storage

Platform Connections (YouTube, Facebook)

When you choose to connect a streaming platform account for live streaming features (coming soon), the app uses OAuth 2.0 to request limited access on your behalf. OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device using your OS secure keychain (macOS Keychain / Windows Credential Store) and are never sent to Edify Audio servers.

StreamLink VST3 Plugin

StreamLink is a DAW plugin that routes audio to Audio Connect sessions. The plugin authenticates with your Edify account credentials to establish a session link. No audio data is stored by the plugin — audio is streamed directly into your active session.

Edify Audio Connect Sanctuary

Edify Audio Connect Sanctuary is a free desktop application. We collect minimal data:

• Your Edify account credentials (email / display name) to sync your favorites and playlists across devices
• Playback preferences and playlist data stored in your account

We do not collect listening history or share any usage data with third parties for advertising purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and manage your account across all Edify products
• To provide AI generation features in EchoWave (song, lyrics, cover art, voice cloning)
• To facilitate real-time collaboration sessions in Audio Connect
• To sync your library, playlists, and favorites in Audio Connect Sanctuary
• To process credit purchases and maintain your EchoWave credit balance
• To connect to streaming platforms on your behalf when you initiate a live stream
• To provide customer support when you contact us

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

• We only request the minimum YouTube scopes required to retrieve your live stream ingestion URL for broadcasting
• We do not use YouTube data for any purpose other than enabling your live stream within the app
• We do not transfer YouTube user data to third parties
• We do not use YouTube data to show advertisements
• We do not allow humans to read your YouTube data unless required for security purposes with your explicit permission

4. AI-Generated Content and Voice Cloning

EchoWave uses third-party AI models to generate music, lyrics, and cover art. When you submit a prompt or upload audio:

• Your prompts may be processed by our AI backend service providers to generate content
• Voice samples you upload for cloning are processed to train a model specific to your account
• Generated songs and voice models are stored in your account and are private by default
• Songs you choose to share to the community are visible to other users — you can remove them at any time

You retain ownership of your uploaded content. AI-generated outputs are provided for your personal and commercial use subject to our Terms of Service.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Account data (email, display name, preferences) is stored in Firebase, protected by Google's security infrastructure
• Cloud storage files (Audio Connect) and EchoWave generated content are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage with server-side encryption
• OAuth tokens for connected platforms are stored only on your local device's secure keychain
• All data in transit is encrypted using TLS
• Voice cloning models are stored privately under your account and are not accessible to other users or Edify staff without your permission

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You can manage your data directly within each app:

• EchoWave: Delete individual songs, voice models, or your entire account from account settings
• Audio Connect: Delete cloud storage files from the in-app file manager. Disconnect platform accounts to delete stored OAuth tokens from your device
• Audio Connect Sanctuary: Delete your playlist and favorites data from account settings

To delete your Edify Audio account and all associated data across all products, contact us at support@edifyaudioconnect.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

7. Third-Party Services

Our products integrate with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, and cloud storage
• Google / YouTube — live streaming integration (Audio Connect)
• Meta (Facebook) — live streaming integration (Audio Connect)
• AI music generation providers — used to power EchoWave song generation
• Payment processors — used to process EchoWave credit purchases and Audio Connect subscriptions

8. Children's Privacy

Our products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when we add new features or products. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Edify products after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
